Learn the gentle and powerful art of Tai Chi. This regular weekly session is for beginners and people with experience, and will aim to encourage relaxation, using tai chi and qigong to boost health and well-being.
Included in PLT, Activo and Up & Active memberships - we will have a free taster on Thursday 1st June 2017 to launch the sessions. The instructors David & Helena are friendly, have many years experience and are members of the Tai Chi Union for GB.
What to wear:
• Shoes: students should wear thin soled sports shoes without strong grip on the bottom; such as standard pumps or plimsolls that are clean and comfortable. Boots, outdoor shoes and shoes with heels are not suitable.
• Clothing: Clothes should be clean, loose-fitting and comfortable, that allow you to move freely and easily without tangling your limbs or body. Trousers, leggings or shorts with a t-shirt or sweatshirt style top are best. All outdoor clothing must be placed in lockers where offered or in a designated area. We try to keep the rooms ‘clutter-free’ to assist relaxation and create a good learning environment.
